Dear Math,
I know you and I have had our differences in the past (especially during the GRE), but I would like you to know that my distaste for you has lessened somewhat thanks to the existence of statistics. I never thought I would enjoy anything remotely math-y, but I was wrong. I love being able to decipher all the pseudo-research shown in commercials and on the news. While I still thoroughly dislike geometry and calculus, I suppose I will not rule out math all together. But you are lucky you have statistics to redeem you, buddy, or you and I could never be friends!
P.S. I especially heart single-tail t-tests. They make me all warm and fuzzy inside.
